Love Her

So happy to be featured on the Rhonna Designs App page. Rhonna is one of my most favorite designers and I have been following her for a long time. I love everything about her creative designs and NOW, her great Rhonna Designs app in the app store. Vintage Ornaments

Christmas ornaments made out of old Readers Digest condensed books, top one triangle fold, next page fold in half and half again until end of book. Triangle shape ones just fold every page in triangle until end of book, adhere last two pages together, drop twine or ribbon down the middle and make knot at bottom so it will not pull through. Added a junque bow at top and a large pearl at bottom. Junque bows, various ribbons, twine,white tulle. Make as full as you like but not over power the ornament. Wreath from coffee filters, with pinecones added and sparkle snowflakes, etc as you like, oh, and lollies made out of papers with snowflake glued on top. Use Martha Stewart scissors for various inside poms or centers. Enjoy!

Christmas Decor

I Love Christmas! Thanks to Margie Romney-Aslett for a great Spark Your Holiday online event. I am loving old book papers more and more. Materials used for this project: Old Readers Digest Condensed, paper doilies, gold and silver ones too, old music paper, cupcake holders, silver and gold, coffee filters, kraft and white, ribbons, twine and star, via kit from Spark Your Holiday! Ornament from old papers, will add wire for hanging and a few embellishments on bottom with burlap ribbon at top with a little tulle and sparkly for Christmas.
