Paper trees inspiration from Spark Your Christmas 2014

I used Teresa Collins Candy Cane Lane and MME papers. Also, gold metallic papers from Michaels. Wooden laser cut star in natural. Old book papers and wooden star with tulle and ribbons.

Christmas Tags 2014

Inspiration from Spark Your Christmas 2014! Tags cut with Silhouette Cameo, using MME and Teresa Collins papers. Chipboard stars (Michaels), scraps of ribbon and fabrics for the juxtaposition of the softness of the fabrics and the chipboard stars and cardboard bottom of tree. Some of the ribbons have a little sparkle to them, A fun project and that will top presents wrapped in brown paper with wide burlap ribbon and tied off with red and green plaid material with other added embellishments to complete the look. I think I will use green burlap, or red, or natural. Hmmm, maybe all three. LOL

Deer head pillow

Having fun making the deer head Christmas pillows. Actually, it doesn't have to be just for Christmas for guys rooms, etc. You can choose any flannel plaid you like. Stonegableblog has a beautiful deer head template for your use. Please make sure you give them a thank you. This particular one looks much better on a lighter background pillow. I just happened to have a red pillow on hand to give it a try. It looks great on linen pillows. Thanks for the inspiration.

Getting ready to make little Christmas gifts. Tag complete with tulle, ribbons and twine. Rhonna Designs, Sheila font, Creative Market(lol a must purchase)! Also, used the stencil font. Ali Edwards, handwriting embellishment. Will use for nail polish tags, gift toppers, gift bags, etc.

Shine On

Working on projects using Color Shine. Sometimes we make a few mistakes in art and it can go in its own direction. I forgot I was using resist paper and when I stamped the butterfly on top, of course, it did not go on the resist. Rather than throw it away, I used distress inks and actually loved the way it turned out. This project is for my Project Life Album. Also, I am enjoying use the different techniques on the new Heidi Swapp Project Life.

It's All Good

The reason I chose It's All Good for my title is because traditional/digital/mixed media is great for the Metamorphosis art journal and journey. Happy to scrapbook my memories, my love, and my family.

I love designing using the mask feature on rhonnadesignsapp. With the different style fonts. I enjoy the collage look. It almost looks 3D. Can't wait to order all of my instagrams from chatbooks. This will be a great way to keep up with designing and all of my favorite instas too. You can also recognize design style changes through the years. Always fun to see.
